A fairy is bright, translated by Bruno Scott-Buck

A fairy is bright,
A little bit green,
There is some blue,
And a little bit of red,
There is some yellow.
The rain is to bathe in when she comes,
Then she is coloured and enchants us.
In a moment, she hides and goes.
So ask what her name is!
This world is hers – work is what she commands!
