Judge: Antonia Lloyd Jones

Antonia Lloyd-Jones is a prize-winning translator of Polish literature. As well as poetry, she translates contemporary fiction (by authors including Paweł Huelle, Olga Tokarczuk and Zygmunt Miłoszewski), reportage (notably Mariusz Szczygieł's Gottland), essays, and children's books. Her poetry translations include two collections by Tadeusz Dąbrowski (Black Square – 2013, and Posts – 2017, both Zephyr Press), and one by Łukasz Jarosz (The Force of Things, Liberodiscrivere 2015). Her translations of Krystyna Dąbrowska's poetry have been published in journals including Harpers. She is a mentor for the Emerging Translators' Mentorship Programme and a former co-chair of the UK Translators Association.
